Our friends at SOHH.com have launched The Dougie, a hip-hop community site. The site features many of the latest music videos, photos, blogs, and should become as powerful as the SOHH Forums as a place for hip-hop life, style and commentary. The Dougie, like Doug E. Fresh, "My Dougie" means your style or swagger, so check out the site and post your Dougie.

Five cities along the 2008 Warped Tour will host after parties at a local Denny's restaurant.  Katy Perry and Say Anything will be in attendance each night, with a host of other bands rotating as part of the Denny's All Nighter program. More details.

Tickets for Coachella have gone on sale, and the Coachella Community is buzzing with the picks from all show attendees...

The lineup annoucement  is out,  the Los Angeles Times already has reported a few bands of interest.  The Verve, Portishead, Roger Waters  and the return of Kraftwerk to the polo grounds!

Coachella Day 1 - the stars turned out for Amy Winehouse as she tested the capacity limits of the Gobi Tent.

After the show, Kelly Osborne was first into the van waiting for Amy, then Ron Jeremy came over to give a sweaty post-show hug to Amy Winehouse, and Buzznet was there to document it all.

Later in the day Scarlett Johnansen joined the Jesus and Mary Chain onstage. - what a day!



Coachella Day 2 is today, lets see what celebrities turn out.

The Virgin Megastore is once again hosting band Autograph signings at the festival this year. (schedule below is subject to change)

A lot more Coachella news has been posted on coachella.com including the ability to win lifelong passes for your entire car just by carpooling, the only trick is you have to carpool.  We know you were going to do that already, but keep an eye out for the official coachella spotter, and you might just win VIP passes for life.

In our first three days here, we've had several of our e-scene folks come by and inaugurate our offices! Check out Rony's photos of Hanna and Audrey  and stay tuned for a live performance of Dropping Daylight and some video with jeffree star.

The Los Angeles Times breaks the news that Rage Against the Machine will reform and headline the 2007 Coachella Festival.  Red Hot Chili Peppers and Björk also headline the three-day music festival.

The story also reports, "organizers were mum this weekend and it was not clear which day Rage or the other acts were slotted to play; that announcement is expected in the next few days. Other acts expected in the eclectic lineup: Arcade Fire, Interpol, Willie Nelson, the Roots, Manu Chao, the Decemberists, Arctic Monkeys, Sonic Youth, Crowded House, Air, Tiësto and Kings of Leon."

Billboard has more acts listed including Jarvis Cocker, the Good, the Bad and the Queen, Lily Allen, and the Kaiser Chiefs.  Sounds like we will know for sure tomorrow or the next day.

Goldenvoice has now revealed the full details and the updated list of artists for The Stagecoach Festival --California’s country music festival set for Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6 in Indio, CA.  In addition to previously announced artists George Strait and Kenny Chesney, the line-up includes Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Sara Evans, Sugarland, Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Pat Green, Lucinda Williams, Kris Kristofferson, Nickel Creek, Raul Malo and Ricky Skaggs. 


Artists will perform in four distinct performance areas including the main stage, an alt-country stage, a bluegrass stage and a storytelling area making for two jam-packed days of music.  It all takes place at the breathtakingly beautiful Empire Polo Field, the same site as the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival which is being held the week before.
 
Beyond the music, there will be a wide variety of art including country music memorabilia, antique cowboy gear, rawhide sculptures, western heritage installations and Americana folk arts.  Additionally, music fans can look forward to activities like saddle making, blacksmiths, rodeo gear, lasso and trail boss seminars, among others.
