Tomdog Radio

Tony Pierce interviews Tomdog! Podcasting at it's finest.

Tomdog gives away his secret strategy for dominating the Buzznet community ;-) and talks about his rock-n-roll band Rogue Cheddar. This is a must-listen to podcast!

They also discuss the secrets of Buzznet's editorial strategy -- we need more editors. This is the biggest expose yet on how Buzznet works from two frequent users (and two long-time friends of mine). I went to college with them both in Santa Barbara back in the day.

Hey - Tomdog, Tony has a good suggestion of the Tomdog favorites gallery on Buzznet! BTW Tony, we have "BlogThis" already on all photos on Buzznet.

Print Your Buzznet photos in books and posters

BOOK PRINTING
You can now print books and posters of your Buzznet photos. A 28 page book (full color) is only $15.99 and a poster is only $9.99! All Buzznet users can buy books and posters just check out the Buzznet/Qoop print shop.

A quick FAQ about Buzznet books and posters:

Where do I go to buy Buzznet Books and Posters?
The Buzznet book store is here.

What is the quality?
The books are printed at 600 DPI, and the process Qoop/Buzznet do a lot of work to improve the image quality. We have been storing your original photo uploads, and those are the source for all print work.

I personally shoot everything on my camera phone at 640x480 and i think my photos look really great in the books.

How do the posters look?
The quality of the book sand posters are amazing. The posters are designed to look really nice and work best with horizontal images since it is a perfect grid of photos (we crop the images to make the grid). You might want to try printing a set of your horizontal photos...

Can others print my photos?
Right now, only you can only print your own photos, go to this link and login or use the button on your homepage for Books and Posters (Premium users only).

We will have a program to let you sell books to your friends/family/fans. How cool is that!

How much do they cost?
Books start at $13, posters are just $9.99. Your art will show up at your door in less than a week, really amazing considering...

My book was $100, whats up with that? Qoop will print a custom book up to 800 pages long that gets expensive, even at our great prices.

We suggest that you create a Buzznet sub-gallery with about 200-300 photos in there, and start with a smaller book ($15 to $20). Remember, when you delete your sub-gallery all your photos will go back to the default gallery, so its a great temporary solution for those of us with TONS of photos on Buzznet.

I have over 3000 photos on Buzznet, a book of all of them is the coolest thing I've EVER had... However, a 500 page custom-printed book gets expensive. Start saving ;-)

Who prints these bad-boys?
All books and posters are printed by our partner Qoop. Buzznet is the first site to roll out with their service. So, this is a Buzznet exclusive.

Orange County

I went to the Orange County Fair last night. Not to see Carrot Top who will be there next week, but to see Beck play.

Beck seemed to have an all new band. It was the first time I've seen Beck without JustinMJ on bass.  Beck also came on stage with 4 people playing percussion and drums. He also did an acoustic set with the band sitting at a  make-shift dinner table playing their forks, spoons and glasses - straight outta' Pottery Barn.
