The Los Angeles Times breaks the news that Rage Against the Machine will reform and headline the 2007 Coachella Festival. Red Hot Chili Peppers and Björk also headline the three-day music festival.
The story also reports, "organizers were mum this weekend and it was not clear which day Rage or the other acts were slotted to play; that announcement is expected in the next few days. Other acts expected in the eclectic lineup: Arcade Fire, Interpol, Willie Nelson, the Roots, Manu Chao, the Decemberists, Arctic Monkeys, Sonic Youth, Crowded House, Air, Tiësto and Kings of Leon." Billboard has more acts listed including Jarvis Cocker, the Good, the Bad and the Queen, Lily Allen, and the Kaiser Chiefs. Sounds like we will know for sure tomorrow or the next day.
